I always knew I wanted to be a teacher. Growing up I was always the one who taught the kids all types of techniques and tricks on doing anything and everything. Well, reality set in, and life happened and the teaching thing never panned out. I did however become a corporate trainer and for many years taught adults in the corporate learning environment. Don’t be fooled – training adults is no easier than teaching kids. The attention span is just as short, or maybe even shorter.
Nowadays, I have evolved into an instructional designer focused on creating corporate learning programs. As a certified professional in learning and performance (CPLP), I have experience designing and developing training programs from instructor-led, to e-Learning.
I love what I do and am trying to becoming better each and every day. Every new project presents a new challenge and I love it!
You may also like to know that I love sewing, photography and travel. Though, I don’t get to spend half as much time as I would like doing these things. I am a big football fan and enjoy solving puzzles. It’s a great relaxation activity.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you enjoy my blog.
